Day 1 – Arrival & Trek to Machame Camp

  • Trekking Time : 5–6 hours
  • Altitude : 1,640 m → 2,835 m
  • Climate : Rainforest

  • Meet your guide in Moshi or Zanzibar and transfer to Machame Gate.
  • Begin the trek through lush rainforest with waterfalls and rich wildlife.
  • Reach Machame Camp in the late afternoon for acclimatization.
  • Overnight at Machame Camp in tents

Day 2 – Machame Camp to Shira Camp

  • Trekking Time : 4–5 hours
  • Altitude : 2,835 m → 3,840 m
